These are some of the harwood floor options we were looking at. From left to right we have Kempas, Cumaru, and Jatoba. We're probably going to go with either Kempas or Jatoba. Both are considerably harder than traditional oak, where Jatoba is like a 2300 on the Janka hardness scale.
