We've decided to buy the Peg Perego Pliko P3 and the Primo Viaggio Car seat. 2005 models can be bought right now with a reasonable discount. Besides available colors, the 2006 car seats had SIP (Side Impact Protection). This is an additional foam bad on each side of the babies head. some other manufacturers are also offering a similar feature.

we bought ours from www.specialtybaby.com

One additional comment about the pre-2006 Primo Viaggio Car seats. They have a smaller weight/height range than the newer 2006 and beyond models. The newer models will compete better with the Graco products, which have a 28-29" height limit.
